David is a lifelong lover of storytelling and music, writing his first song at the age of eight. David is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild of America , the Experts Theater Company, and MusicalWriters.com. David graduated from Loyola University of Maryland and received his Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York.
David began writing the songs that would become Little Things upon his separation, to give voice to what families impacted by divorce experience. Tom Fosnocht, David’s son’s piano teacher at the time, saw promise in the project and began collaborating in 2017. The musical was written in real time, as David’s divorce progressed.
David currently resides in downtown Philadelphia and is working on his next project, a musical entitled What Happens Next?, a comedy about dating after divorce.
Tom is a music director, composer, pianist and transcriber. Tom graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music from Oberlin Conservatory of Music (Piano Performance and Composition) and studied with Kyoko Takeuti of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Susan Kiefner of the Curtis Institute.
Tom has music directed shows at virtually every theatre in Philadelphia, as well as local colleges and schools. Tom’s credits include Broadway World Philadelphia awards for Best Music Direction in 2012 for Mame and in 2013 for Wings . Tom was also the winner of the Ambler Symphony Orchestra and Warminster Symphony Orchestra Concerto competitions.
Tom’s past experience includes music directing the 2024 national tour of Little Women. Tom is slated to music direct the upcoming national tour of The Addams Family. As Tom eloquently put it, “Music is my life, and each new day reaffirms this love and passion.”
